The Volvo C70 is a four-seater convertible with brilliant styling and elegant lines, and the retractable hardtop is an engineering masterpiece.

The Volvo S40 was refreshed for 2008. Improvements include improved audio systems, increased storage space and new safety features like Emergency Brake Lights which flash rapidly during hard braking to alert traffic behind the car. Volvo XC90, Mini receive top honors.

The retro-styled Mini Cooper was named 2003 North American Car of the Year, and the Volvo XC90 captured North American Truck of the Year honors.
The Mini beat the Infiniti G35 and Nissan 350Z, and the XC90 topped the Hummer H2, Honda Element and Nissan Murano.
The candidates included 12 cars and 13 trucks. The winners were determined by the votes of 49 automotive journalists, including Automotive News Editor Edward Lapham and Industry Editor Dale Jewett.
